A place for your group to stay
Wedding groups, hen and stag weekends, families, friends and business retreats can book Lorne House exclusively. Your group has the house to itself; we never run B&B bookings alongside a whole-house let.
Shared time, comfortable rooms
Eight en-suite bedrooms and shared sitting and dining spaces make a practical base for time away together. Maximum occupancy is 20 using the sofa bed; dining space is tight at that number.
Your weekend, your pace
Cook in the self-catering kitchen, explore the area or ask for independent catering and activity recommendations. Whole-house bookings do not include Lorne House breakfast.
Accommodation for wedding guests
Lorne House is a place to stay, not an event venue. Organised events and late-night parties are not permitted, and non-resident visitors are not allowed except pre-arranged visiting caterers whose access is agreed with Harry and Eliza.
Ideas for your group
Plan meals out, private Bath boat trips, walking tours or other outings using our independent recommendations. Harry and Eliza can also recommend caterers for an exclusive stay. Book providers directly and discuss plans with Harry and Eliza before making arrangements; the house remains accommodation-only.
Before you book
Whole-house stays have a minimum of two nights. Direct bookings require an £800 security deposit at booking. Outside music must be off by 10pm and indoor music kept considerate to neighbours. Please ask about unusual room configurations before booking.
Plan accommodation around your wedding
Use Lorne House as your group’s accommodation while attending a wedding elsewhere. Confirm your guest numbers and room arrangements before booking, and arrange transport to and from your wedding venue in advance. The maximum overnight occupancy is 20 using the agreed sofa-bed arrangement.
Hen and stag weekends
Hen and stag groups are welcome to stay at Lorne House under the whole-house rules. Make the house your accommodation base for meals out and activities elsewhere. Organised events and late-night parties are not permitted at the property.
Catering, servicing and checkout
Pre-arranged visiting caterers may use the full kitchen, fridge, freezer and utensils on your arrival day, at check-in time or later. Please agree their access with Harry and Eliza in advance. For whole-house stays of four days or more, a towel and bedding service is included at no extra cost. Laundry is £20 per wash. Whole-house checkout is by 11:00am.
