Book an en-suite B&B room or an exclusive whole-house stay directly with Lorne House. Direct room bookings may also include a complimentary upgrade when available, and early check-in is free on request when we can accommodate it.

Choose your room type, dates and party size. B&B rates include breakfast. You receive your specific room allocation on arrival.
Book the whole house
Exclusive self-catering use of eight en-suite bedrooms for up to 20 overnight guests using the sofa bed. Minimum stay: two nights. An £800 security deposit is payable when you book directly. This is separate from the price of your stay. We refund it after checkout.

Payment and arrival
We take payment for direct B&B bookings at 12 noon on check-in day. For whole-house stays, the full balance is due eight weeks before arrival. The £800 security deposit is separate from the stay price. We refund it after checkout. We accept major debit and credit cards. Check-in is 4–7pm. B&B checkout is by 10:30am; whole-house checkout is by 11:00am.
You’ll see the relevant booking and privacy terms before payment. If anything is unclear, Harry and Eliza are always happy to help.
A few practical house rules
You are very welcome to relax and enjoy your stay. Please do not smoke or vape inside. We charge £50 for a lost room key. Whole-house stays are for resident guests rather than organised events or late-night parties, although pre-arranged caterers are welcome when their access has been agreed with Harry and Eliza. Outside music must be turned off by 10pm and indoor music kept at a considerate level.
Cancellation: B&B rooms
If you cancel less than seven days before arrival, we charge the first night. We also charge for any remaining nights we cannot resell. However, if we resell all remaining nights, we charge only the first night.
Cancellation: whole-house stays
For cancellation within four weeks of arrival, the booking deposit is non-refundable. Please ask Harry and Eliza to confirm the booking-deposit amount and applicable terms before booking. The booking deposit is separate from the £800 security deposit.
Laundry and whole-house servicing
For whole-house stays of four nights or more, we include a room refresh with fresh towels, replacement toilet rolls and a light tidy. This is not a full clean or bedding change. Laundry costs £20 per wash.
