A whole house near Bath, just for your group
When you book Lorne House exclusively, there are no B&B guests staying alongside you. Family and friend gatherings, hen and stag weekends, wedding groups and business retreats are welcome within our accommodation-only house rules.
Sleep and dine together
Eight en-suite bedrooms accommodate up to 20 overnight guests using the sofa bed. The dining room can seat 20, although space is tight at that number.
Space to unwind
Enjoy the sitting room and verandah together. Bedding and towels are supplied, so you can focus on your time away.
Self-catering made practical
Your kitchen has a large range oven, one dishwasher, microwave and a large fridge. An American fridge-freezer on the lower ground floor is available on request. Whole-house stays do not include Lorne House breakfast; we can recommend independent caterers for you to book directly. Pre-arranged visiting caterers may use the full kitchen, fridge, freezer and utensils on your arrival day, at check-in time or later. Please agree their access with Harry and Eliza in advance.
Good to know before booking
The minimum whole-house stay is two nights. Direct bookings require an £800 security deposit at booking. For whole-house stays of four days or more, a towel and bedding service is included at no extra cost. Laundry is £20 per wash.
A considerate group stay
Lorne House provides accommodation. Organised events and late-night parties are not permitted. Non-resident visitors are not allowed, except pre-arranged visiting caterers with access agreed by Harry and Eliza. All outside music must be turned off by 10pm; indoor music must be kept at a level considerate to neighbours.

Harry and Eliza can recommend independent catering and activity providers. For unusual room configurations or group requirements, ask us before booking.
Your arrival
Check-in is 4–7pm and whole-house checkout is by 11:00am. Onsite parking accommodates up to eight cars most practically for a whole-house group. If you use the adjacent surgery car park overnight or at weekends, move vehicles by 8am on weekdays.
